Terms of service

Platform terms

These Terms govern access to Accagrity, a writing intelligence and document integrity platform. By creating an account, accepting an order, or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use Accagrity for an organisation, you represent that you can bind that organisation.

1. The service

Accagrity provides tools for drafting, document intake, analysis, comparison, evidence and citation review, transformation, provenance, exports, workspace administration, and related support. Features, limits, availability, and model or provider access may vary by plan, workspace settings, region, and product release. We may improve, modify, or retire features, while taking reasonable steps to avoid unnecessary loss of customer content.

2. Accounts and workspaces

You must provide accurate information, protect credentials and passkeys, and promptly report suspected compromise. You are responsible for activity under your account and for inviting members with appropriate permissions. Workspace administrators control membership, roles, retention, and access to organisation-controlled content. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.

3. Your content and instructions

You retain ownership of content you submit and outputs you create, subject to third-party rights and the limited licence below. You grant Accagrity a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, reproduce, transmit, modify as technically necessary, analyse, and display content solely to provide, secure, support, and improve the service you have requested. You are responsible for having the rights, permissions, notices, and lawful basis needed to submit personal data, confidential material, copyrighted works, or regulated information.

4. Analysis, transformation, and responsible use

Signals, scores, generated text, comparisons, and recommendations are decision-support outputs, not proof of authorship, plagiarism, misconduct, legal compliance, factual accuracy, or entitlement. Human review remains required, especially for academic, employment, legal, medical, financial, immigration, or disciplinary decisions. You must not use the service to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects where prohibited by law. You must not submit secrets, payment credentials, or sensitive personal data unless your plan and documented arrangements support it.

5. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service, bypass limits or security controls, upload malware, infringe rights, unlawfully monitor or profile people, impersonate others, probe or disrupt infrastructure, reverse engineer except where law permits, use outputs to train a competing service without permission, or use Accagrity for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive activity. We may remove content or limit access when reasonably necessary to enforce this section or protect the platform.

6. Plans, billing, and refunds

Paid plans renew according to the selected billing cycle unless cancelled before renewal. Prices, taxes, usage limits, and included features are shown at checkout or in an applicable order. Stripe or another payment provider processes payments. You authorise recurring charges until cancellation. Except where mandatory law or an order says otherwise, fees are non-refundable; cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Consumer cancellation and cooling-off rights apply where required in your jurisdiction.

7. Confidentiality, privacy, and security

Each party will protect the other party’s confidential information using reasonable care and will use it only for the relationship. Our Privacy Policy describes personal-data processing. We maintain technical and organisational safeguards, but you must also use appropriate account controls, review outputs, and maintain your own backups for critical work.

8. Intellectual property and feedback

Accagrity and its licensors own the service, software, branding, documentation, and underlying technology. Except for the rights expressly granted, no licence is transferred. You grant us a royalty-free right to use feedback and suggestions to improve the service without identifying you publicly unless you agree otherwise.

9. Disclaimers and limits

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis and we do not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free analysis, or a particular result. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer rights, fraud, wilful misconduct, or liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, Accagrity will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, and aggregate liability will be limited to the fees paid for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or the mandatory statutory minimum where applicable.

10. Termination, disputes, and changes

You may stop using the service at any time. We may terminate or suspend an account for material breach, non-payment, legal risk, or security reasons. On termination, access may end and deletion will follow the Privacy Policy and any applicable retention obligations. Before filing a formal claim, contact us and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve it. The governing law, venue, and any arbitration terms should be completed for the operating entity and customer location before launch; mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected. We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version and, where required, giving notice.

11. Contracting entity

The Accagrity contracting entity, registered address, tax details, governing law, and dispute forum must be completed before paid production use: [INSERT LEGAL ENTITY NAME, REGISTRATION NUMBER, AND ADDRESS]; [INSERT GOVERNING LAW AND VENUE]. Until those details are completed in the applicable order or contract, this page should be treated as a product terms template rather than a substitute for signed commercial terms.
